Premier Padel and FIP launch official betting data system with Sportradar integrity deal

By WhatThePadel.com

Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation have appointed Sportradar as their official betting integrity partner as professional padel prepares to introduce an official regulated betting data ecosystem from the 2027 season.

The move is paired with the appointment of iGame Media as Premier Padel's exclusive betting technology and distribution partner.

Together, the agreements create a formal structure around how official match data can be collected, distributed and used by regulated sportsbooks.

Official betting products from 2027

According to Premier Padel and FIP, the new ecosystem will cover matches across the men's and women's Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour from 2027.

Regulated sportsbooks will be able to access official betting products based on in-venue umpire data and low-latency live streaming.

For a sport that has expanded quickly across countries, venues and audiences, that is a notable step in the professionalization of its commercial infrastructure.

Official data rights are common in larger professional sports because they give organizers more control over the quality, speed and distribution of match information.

Sportradar will monitor suspicious betting activity

Sportradar's role is focused on integrity.

Its Universal Fraud Detection System monitors global betting activity and uses technology and specialist analysis to identify unusual betting patterns that could indicate possible manipulation.

The company will also support training and education programs intended to reduce integrity risks among players, officials and other participants.

The partnership does not mean suspicious activity has occurred in padel. Instead, Premier Padel and FIP are putting monitoring systems in place as betting products around the sport become more formalized and potentially more widely available.

FIP is expanding its integrity framework

The betting initiative sits alongside other integrity measures already being developed by FIP.

The federation has adopted the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions and has worked with the International Olympic Committee on education and awareness.

FIP is also a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code, while the International Testing Agency independently manages its anti-doping program for international competitions including Premier Padel.

The federation says it is also developing stronger mechanisms for reporting potential integrity concerns, including a dedicated reporting channel through its digital platforms.

Why official data matters

Fast, accurate sports data has commercial value because sportsbooks and media services can use it to build live products around matches.

But the same growth creates integrity risks.

An official system can give the governing bodies more visibility into how data is distributed while pairing commercial expansion with monitoring and education.

For padel, this is another sign that the professional game is developing beyond tournaments and sponsorships into the type of infrastructure already common around established global sports.

Revenue is expected to flow back into the sport

Premier Padel says the new commercial partnerships will create additional revenue streams and that revenues generated through partnerships will be reinvested in areas including the professional game, players, events and the fan experience.

How large that betting-related revenue becomes remains to be seen.

The more immediate significance is structural - professional padel will enter 2027 with an official data distribution system and a dedicated external betting integrity partner.

A new phase for professional padel

Padel's rapid growth has created opportunities that barely existed a few seasons ago.

The arrival of official betting products is one of them - and it comes with responsibilities around transparency, monitoring and player education.

The Sportradar agreement is therefore less about betting alone and more about how Premier Padel and FIP are preparing the sport for a larger and more commercially mature professional ecosystem.
